Super D Independent Distribution (SDID) exclusive artist The Civil Wars brings the Independent Distributor two Grammy Awards

Super D, the Worldwide Entertainment Wholesaler Retailer, announce two Grammy wins from The Civil Wars, an exclusive Super D Independent Distribution (SDID) artist.

IRVINE, CA – Super D Independent Distribution is pleased to extend congratulations to Joy Williams and John Paul White known as The Civil Wars on their two Grammy Awards for Best Folk and Best Country Duo/Group.

As if winning the Grammys were not enough, a TV audience of nearly 40 million was exposed to their talent in a stunning 60 second performance of Barton Hollow which aired on the February 12 Grammy Telecast, followed by their third appearance on the Jay Leno show, February 13.

According to SoundScan, The Civil Wars received the largest sales increase of any of the performing artists. This represents an unprecedented sales breakthrough for an independently distributed and artist owned label.
